Meet the team - Yuri joined us 6 months ago wanting to elevate his skills in fine dining, and we can say he has taken to it like a duck to water. His passion for guest experience is a massive part of what makes us so special. His quest for knowledge and to consistently be better is a true inspiration for everyone. He also makes arguably the best coffees in Auckland, which the chefs always look forward to when he walks through the door 😅. Next time you're in, say hi to Yuri!!!!

Meet the Team—Our resident commis chef, Thomas, joined us straight from culinary school for an eight-week internship. Initially, we didn’t have an opening for Thomas, and we were super honest about it. However, he still wanted to spend eight weeks with us, and we are glad he did. He had his “click moment” around week six, and on his last day, officially offered him a job!!!!
Six months in and a whole lot of out-the-gate staff meal chat, not only has Tom become a vital member of our team, but he has grown at a speed we are all so proud of, and while he still has a long way to go, he is heading in the right direction, look at his Saturday night projects 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Outside of work, Tom is very big on family and is also currently training in jiu-jitsu, where he’s still waiting to have his “click moment 🐢”.
So please say hi to Tom next time you see him in the restaurant.
