I absolutely love we have been here for 8 years and the way this restaurant has naturally grown and evolved is incredible. I read an article today about a chef who worked beside me at Wild honey restaurant, London who said that there was something about working at wild honey for Anthony demetre that made you feel like you never wanted to leave. There is so much truth about that. After 2 attempts to get a job at wild honey I finally got a trial, I worked hard every day and night with Colin Kelly as head chef. I worked my way up to becoming a sous chef under the guidance of Anthony at wild honey then later at Arbutus restaurant in soho. I’m always grateful for his support, knowledge and the gold nuggets of information that I use everyday in my own restaurants. Not only was Anthony a great chef but a big rugby lover and we would often go to our local pub and watch the All Blacks vs England test matches together on our day off. Thank you chef for some of the best years of my career. 🙏🏻
