An old favourite is back! 🇫🇷🧀
Our Chicken & Raclette Cordon Bleu is back, served with pommes sarladaises, green beans, mushrooms, and whipped crème fraîche.
🍷 Perfect with a Gibbston Valley Pinot Noir. Its bright berry fruit and fresh acidity balance the rich raclette cheese, while its earthy notes complement the mushrooms beautifully.

Bastille Day at Ambler 🇫🇷
Join us on Tuesday 14 July for an authentic French dinner celebrating Bastille Day.
Enjoy a selection of French-inspired amuse-bouches, your choice of Boeuf Bourguignon or a delicious Salade Gourmande, and finish with a spectacular flambéed poached pear dessert.

🧀✨ Raclette Nights are coming to Ambler!
Join us for a cosy French-style evening around our large communal table, with traditional music, shared apéritif platters, melted raclette cheese, charcuterie, potatoes, and good vibes all night.
You’ll get your own raclette pan to melt the cheese until golden, bubbling perfection — the proper way. 🇫🇷
Only $60 per person
Includes shared French apéritif platters, raclette, charcuterie, potatoes, and a little glass of traditional Génépi from the owner before you leave.
Legend says it helps with digestion… but that may just be a rumour 😉
The evening starts at 6:30 PM, so don’t be late!

🐶 Calling all Point Chev dog lovers!
We’re starting something fun for our four-legged locals at Ambler Café & Bistro.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday during the day, bring your dog along when you visit us and they’ll receive a free Chunky dog treat sample while you enjoy your coffee, brunch, or lunch.
We love seeing all the dogs around Ambler, so we’ll be sharing some of their cute faces here too 🐾

To get to the cafe, take the Western Line train and disembark at Baldwin Avenue Station. From there, exit the station and head east on Blockhouse Bay Road toward Point Chevalier Road. Turn left onto Point Chevalier Road, and continue until you reach your destination.
If you are driving, take State Highway 16 towards Auckland City Centre. Exit at St Lukes Road, then turn right onto New North Road. Follow this road until you hit Point Chevalier Road and turn right. Look out for parking spaces near the cafe as street parking is usually available.
