It's arrived and we will get in looking as attractive as we can when we play with tables etc tommorow, awesome company to deal with karen and I decided to do this at 11am made a phone call and they were out by 2pm and we have this beauty untill next week 😀

Good morning everyone 🥰 we have had so many bookings come through for sunday mothers day and we are trying to fit everyone who wants to celebrate with us at our little gem of a cafe, so greatful. We have had to turn people away....... BUT we have decided let's make it something very special, we are super pumped, we have the best of the best staff on all weekend so we are getting a BIG marquee with sides delivered later today for the whole weekend to make use of our outdoor area if weather is a little unpredictable, so if we turned you away even an hour ago, get in touch cause we got this 👍 my goodness bring on mothers day weekend whatever the weather..... we can recover silently on monday 💪 🙏 x

Mothers Day is coming up the next weekend Sun 10 May.
Bookings definitely recommended due to such changeable weather at the moment.
We will have all our yummy cabinet food, meals and maybe even a few specials for the day.

Happy Anzac Monday 🥰 We have very little time to do maintenance work down at our little cafe without shutting down for a few days, we have a monday off to have our "day off" but at the moment we need that monday for baking or property tidy ups and today was that monday and I couldnt be more in love with my little limetree cafe than tonight, stunning weather, freshly mowed lawns, a bit of a spruce up on the deck (well overdue) 😳 if only we had another 48 hours to tackle other parts...... unfortunately soups have been depleted over the weekend so I will tackle that job over the next few days but seafood chowder is in stock and lots of it....... lamb Irish stew, bacon hock veggie and pumpkin soup will follow and be back in stock mid to late week

Happy beautiful Tuesday evening 💕 It's getting a little chilly now..... still my most favorite season, the soups have started at the moment we have hearty lamb Irish stew, pumpkin soup and bacon hock veggie soup (seafood chowder is out of stock i shall get onto that tommorow hopefully) i have also just randomly as i do 🙃 decided to make individual takeaway meals, at the moment I have done hearty cheesy beef lasagne, creamy spinach, ricotta and mozerala vegeterian cannaloni, Thai green chicken curry on jasmine rice (mild/med heat) (G.F) and will also be doing beef and vegetable stir fry on hokkien noodles i put this is our cabinet last week and it flew out the door, each portion is in foil trays and would serve two people, these are fresh in the fridge right now I will be freezing for takeaway. Lasagne and cannaloni $22 green curry and beef stir fry $18 each

We've had alot of excitement down here this afternoon... Bill Hohepa the fishing guru and Linda Wills and crew filming a portion of their upcoming movie "A Fish Full of Dollars" based on a true story.
We are feeling very proud to be part of it 😍🥰

Good morning everyone (well not for some of us here at The LimeTree) unfortunately 3 baristas Trina, grayce and myself have come down with a bug over the past 48 hours, we had to make a call to close up cafe early yesterday and we have made the call to shut today so all 3 of us can get better. Unfortunately our cafe cannot run on 3 staff and no barista, I dont make this decision lightly as I would always find a way to avoid this but in 12 years thats the first for 3 staff members off at once with the same bug, there is a bug going around households and schools at the moment and you just have to make a call to look after yourself/other staff members and our customers. So sorry for the inconvenience and we will back open 8am tommorow 😘

Well.... thats a wrap from us all here at The LimeTree Cafe, it was a great last day and lovely to see so many of you for the last time in 2025, have a wonderful Christmas and new year, be safe, be good (or not) as the joke has been 🤣 we love you all for your support all year through and your kindness....we really are a fantastic little village and beyond and we will be back before you know it.... and I couldn't believe it in reality next weekend I'll be back to get ready for deliveries and baking ready to open the following Tuesday... so not long at all really to wait......lots and lots of love 😘😘xx
