What people say

The Gelato Workshop in Birkenhead Avenue, Auckland is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian gelato. Established in 2013, this small business has been serving up delicious homemade gelato and sorbet for the past 8 years. The owners have taken inspiration from their experience in Italy and have learned from the Italian gelato master Claudio, who has been in the industry for over tens of years and still operates his business in Victoria Australia.

What sets The Gelato Workshop apart is their commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create authentic Kiwi flavor recipes. They work closely with Chef Che Barrington, who has operated boutique restaurants like The Blue Breeze Inn, Woodpecker Hill, and CHOP CHOP in Ponsonby Central Auckland.

The Gelato Workshop has become a beloved part of the community over the past 8 years. It's a place where kids have grown into teenagers and teenagers into young adults while enjoying delicious gelato with their friends and family. The owners take pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit a pleasant moment of your day.

If you're looking for a sweet treat that will transport you straight to Italy, head over to The Gelato Workshop on Birkenhead Avenue. You won't be disappointed!
