1988. Top Town was on the telly. People still drove Triumphs and Valiants. And somewhere on Manchester Street in Christchurch, three friends opened a restaurant called Lone Star.
With no idea what they were starting. No idea that one day, New Zealanders all over the country would lean back in their chairs, loosen their belts, and say - 'yeeeppp. That was good'!
Today, we celebrate 38 years of Lone Star. We're celebrating all month long! So come on over, and book your table now to RSVP.
