Greetings Waiheke!
Just a reminder to let you know that our Wee Chippy will be closed from the 14th September to 1st October.
We are taking a break to rest, recuporate and recharge ready for the Spring and Summer Seasons.
Our opening days and times for this week are as follows
Thursday - 12noon until 7.30pm
Friday - 12noon until 7.30pm
Saturday - 12noon until 7.30pm

Its SEAFOOD PIE TIME folks! The perfect FRIDAY NIGHT SUPPER or perhaps something for the weekend awaits
Simply place your order with us before 6pm on Wednesday.
Pickup on Friday after 3pm and let us create some magic for you.
Our home-made delicious Seafood Pie includes Fresh Fish, Prawns, Mussels, Clams & Greens in a rich Creamy Herb Sauce. Topped with Buttery Mash and Cheese.
Simply take it home, pop it in the oven and hey presto your yummy supper is ready to devour. Oh and cheese crust is just sooooo gooood!

WE ARE CLOSING!
But don't worry, its just for a few weeks. That's right we are taking our delayed WINTER BREAK from the 14th September to the 1st October.
It will give us a chance to reflect and recharge our batteries, so we are ready to look after your seafood cravings over the Spring and Summer seasons.
We will also be making some changes to our shop over the coming months, so watch this space folks - EXCITING TIMES!
Naturally we will send out a reminder of our wee break next week. Remember to pop along and see us over the next 2 weeks, before we disappear.

That's right folks we are back tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) from 3pm through until 7pm and are looking forward to seeing you.
Find below our menu for the week ahead. Our Creamy Seafood Chowder is back (a crowd favourite) along with Asian Style Tuna Ceviche as well as all of your other favourites.
Remember to order a bag of delicious Fresh Coromandel Mussels this week too, so you can cook up a storm at home. Available Wednesday to Saturday (with 24 hours notice) - 1kg $11 and 2kg $21.

Greetings Waiheke and to all our valued customers.
As some of you may recall we entered the UK National Fish and Chip Awards 2026 and although we didn't progress too far we have decided to give it another crack this year (2027) in the category of International Fish & Chip Shop.
The International Fish and Chip Operator of the Year award recognises businesses outside the UK that are delivering exceptional fish and chips while proudly promoting the tradition of Britain’s iconic dish around the world.
This category celebrates operators that consistently demonstrate excellence in food quality, customer experience, and business performance, while overcoming the unique challenges of operating in an international market. Judges will be looking for businesses that combine authenticity, innovation, and high operational standards, while successfully promoting fish and chips within their local community.
The winner will be recognised as a global ambassador for the fish and chip industry, setting the benchmark for excellence and showcasing the very best of British fish and chips on the international stage.
Our award submission needs to be submitted by early October so we are starting to bring this to life to hopefully submit, and who knows fingers crossed 🤞 we might make it to the finals.
Naturally we would love to see a NZ National Fish and Chip Awards scheme as we kin of think it is a bit of a kiwi institution.
We will keep you informed of how we progress.
