Have you made use of the in season feijoas this winter yet? Try our feijoa crumble.
INGREDIENTS
900 grams feijoa pulp
30 grams caster sugar
2 grams cinnamon
10 grams cornflour
For the Crumble
120grams flour
100grams oats
100grams caster sugar
150grams softened butter
4grams salt
10 grams raw sugar (to sprinkle on top)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Mix the feijoa with the sugar and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then add cornflour and cinnamon and combine.
Mix the butter into all of the crumble ingredients except the raw sugar,
Put the feijoa mixture into a baking dish and top with the crumble mixture.
Sprinkle with the raw sugar.
Bake for 20min or until it is nice and golden brown.
Serve with Mascarpone cream, custard or ice cream and enjoy!
