We’re back for another round of Open Decks at the Leigh Sawmill!

7pm till late

Got a few tunes you want to play? Come down and have a go on the decks. Whether you’ve been DJing or on the vinyls

Bring your USB, laptop or vinyl records. All genres and styles welcome.

How it works:

* Sign up from 7pm on the night.
* One-hour sets per DJ.
* First in, first served. Limited slots available.
* Music kicks off around 8pm and carries on till late.

If you’re not playing, come down for a b**r, listen to some good music and support the locals having a spin.

No pressure, no big production, just a good night of music at the Sawmill.

Big ups to our host Simon!

Round 5 is coming up Sunday 18th October!

Round 4 was a bloody good night. Taking out first place was my love Ed what a hunk! Coming in 2nd was Leigh local newcomer Arron Knight, and in 3rd place we had George brooks!

Cheers to everyone who came down, had a few, threw some darts and got amongst it. Always a good night when the locals are out having a laugh and talking a bit of s**t.

Now let’s see if Ed can keep the ball rolling for Round 5, or if someone else is going to knock him off his perch!

What’s happening at the Mill this week for school holidaaays

We’re open Tuesday, Thursday + Friday, 5pm–8pm for takeaway pizzas or dine in.

Saturday + Sunday
For the school holidays, we’re opening early from 10am with Greenhouse bagels and a few sweet treats.

10am–12pm — Bagels + sweet treats
From 12pm to 4pm — Pizzas

Saturday night
We’ve got a gig on from 7pm, so from then it’ll be ticket holders only.

Tickets are available through our website, with some available on the door too.

Rural Rhythm Co-Op x Leigh Sawmill

We’re kicking off spring with Open Decks at the Mill. Sign ups from 6pm if you want a spot, get in early and put your name down. First in, first served.

You’ll get a 1-hour set depending on how many DJs jump on throughout the night. Line-up starts around 8–8:30pm and runs through till late.

Bring your USB, laptop or vinyl , we’ve got the gear ready to go.

Any genre, any style, any flavour.

Just a couple of reminders.
we’re R18 after 8pm so we will be checking IDs on the door. If you’re bringing the kids, they MUST be with their legal guardian and please keep an eye on them, You’re responsible for your tamariki we’re not babysitters haha.

If you’re drinking, make sure you’ve got a ride home sorted, especially if you’ve got the kids with you. We are always happy to give anyone a ride home if you live locally.
