It comes with a heavy heart that I have had to let go Dizzy Lizzys Milk bar .
With the Sign of the times , due to the current situation our beautiful Country is in , we have been left with no other option but to let it go .
Without getting too emotional, I want to thank everyone who played a part in making Dizzy’s Lizzys a great place to meet , listen to music and share the company of others .
I have loved serving you all and have made some great friends .
Leaving Auckland and an American diner behind us , to bring my ailing mum to start afresh in Mangawhai was made easier by the warm welcome we got .
Fast forward a few weeks,my mum didn’t make it out of Auckland hospital .. but we just had to carry on as we had already committed.
What a journey ! No regrets . I’m so sad I have had to let the shop go , but still held on to my Dizzy Lizzy name .
We are still around at the Oasis and Mangawhai Pizzeria .
So many changes , I can’t even keep up .
My once Resturant , then Cafe , now Coffee shop … not sure where too after this , maybe car park lol !!!
Those who know me well ,know I WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ANYONE … it’s just not in my DNA .
I have lost so much out of choice , but gained more in my own personal growth .
Who knows what the future holds .
What I do know is this , no matter what stance we take , TOGETHER AS ONE WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS ❤️❤️❤️

🌞Happy summer time!🌞 We would love to be able to open Dizzy Lizzys again this summer we just need…some staff! We are after baristas, drink makers (smoothies etc) & positive attitudes 😉

It’s been a minute since we last posted on here as we have been closed and in the meantime looking at our next step forward and what the future potentially looks like for Dizzy Lizzys.
Covid has changed a lot for us.
We are now currently looking at subleasing Dizzy Lizzys as we haven’t yet quite decided what to do and thought this would be a great opportunity for someone over the busy summer period ahead.

Argh, silly covid. We are now closed until further notice (well, until we can get our staff members back from across the Auckland border 😊).

We’re back from tommorrow onwards! 👋🏼
We will ofcourse only be open for takeaway in level 3 and will have our donuts available for the next 3 days-Friday from 9am, Saturday & Sunday from 7:30am! A good way to end off the school holidays 🍩🍩🍩

To get to Wood Street in Mangawhai by public transport, take the bus or train to the nearest station and then transfer to a local bus that goes to Mangawhai. Get off at the stop closest to Wood Street and walk towards it.
If you are driving, take the main road towards Mangawhai and turn onto Wood Street when you see it. There is limited street parking available near Wood Street, so plan accordingly.
