Interesting fact about Margherita Pizza 🍕
Margherita pizza was named after Queen Margherita of Savoy, who, during a visit to Naples in 1889, was served a pizza with tomatoes (red)🍅, mozzarella (white) 🧀, and basil (green)🌿 - colours representing the Italian flag 🇮🇹. She loved it so much that the pizza was named after her - Margherita pizza we know today!
