The Mt Eden Village Craft Market is back this Saturday!

October is a great time to start browsing for Christmas gifts, and with 50+ local makers bringing their 100% handmade creations, there’s plenty to discover.

Grab your morning coffee and step inside the Village Centre to explore four different market areas. Make sure you head all the way to the back lounge – there are some exclusive makers tucked away there too!

There are 17* participating Auckland bookshops this year and you have 12 days to complete your tour. Do you think you can visit them all?

Pick up an Auckland Bookshop Tour map from any of the participating bookshops. Make a purchase—there is no minimum spend—and collect a stamp. Once you have at least two stamps, you are eligible to enter the draw to win $425 in bookshop tokens. Each additional stamp gives you another entry into the prize draw. Leave your map at the last bookshop you visit and they will submit your entry.

Check individual shop opening days and opening hours, which may vary, eg, we are open Tue-Sun 10am-4pm (we are closed on Mondays). Get your friends together and plan your tour wisely, dear reader!

We love the shortbread made by the wonderful Rebecca at Paris Mt Eden Bakery (464 Mt Eden Road). To mark the CRL’s first week of operation, we’ve been giving away complimentary train-themed shortbread to our customers in store. Yum!
