One of the great dishes of the Raj.

Jhal means hot. Frezee means stir fried. Two words that tell you exactly what you're in for.

Red capsicum, coconut milk, tomatoes, spring onions and spice brought together the way they've always been.

Some dishes carry history. This is one of them.

Everything at Little India is better with bread alongside it. Warm naan for scooping, roti torn and passed around the table, garlic naan that rarely makes it to the end of the meal.

Straight from the tandoor and ready to carry every last bit of sauce from your plate.

Some evenings you remember for a long time. A 23rd wedding anniversary, a first visit, and a table that more than lived up to the occasion.

This one meant a lot to us. Attentive service, a little history shared along the way, and dish after dish full of flavour, balanced spice and care.

Thank you for letting us be part of your night, and for words this kind.

The tandoor has been at the centre of North Indian cooking for thousands of years. In Punjab, villages shared a community tandoor - families would bring their dough, their meat, their food to be cooked together. It was never just a method. It was where people gathered.

That history is in every kitchen we run. Grandmother Premjit cooked this way in Chandigarh. Our head chefs are trained in that same tradition. The smoke, the heat, the char - that's what you're tasting in the naan, in the meat, in everything that comes off that fire.

Some things are better experienced than explained.

There's a craving that only this fixes.

Vegetable Manchurian - tangy, crisp, finished with garlic, ginger, and spring onion. The kind of dish that immediately feels like the right order.
