We’re enjoying the longer days with our four fresh new single origins. As usual, we’ve got variety across origins, processing and flavours.
On espresso, our Burundi bursts open with juicy ripe mango and candied lemon before settling into sweeter notes of red grape and dried fruit.
First up on filter, our Peruvian Geisha offers a unique take on a celebrated variety. It unfolds with jasmine florals, hibiscus and sweet red pear, supported by delicate orange citrus and a soft maple sweetness.
Our Colombian filter is a bit of a show-off. Passionfruit steals the spotlight from the first sip, backed by waves of peach juice, tropical fruit and delicate florals.
Rounding it off is our Kenyan filter. It’s effortlessly easy to love. Blackberry and sweet baked apple lead the way, backed by a crisp malic acidity that keeps the cup fresh and lively.

Here’s a wrap up of our Atomic Archives tastings last week! ☕️
Due to the high demand and interest, instead of just hosting our 2 initial tasting sessions, we ended up hosting 6!
Hosted at Atomic Brew Bar, we explored three Colombian coffees, each with a very different approach to processing. With two filter coffees brewed using high-performance SIBARIST filters, alongside an espresso that Heesun Christina Lee used in the 2025 Aotearoa Barista Championships, each cup was something special.
Across these sessions, we raised $600 for the Colombia Earthquake Relief Fund through GlobalGiving ❤️
Thanks to everyone who came along, shared a cup with us, and helped us support the relief effort!

What do a World Barista Championship finalist and an Aotearoa Barista Champion have in common? Some very good Colombian coffee.
We’ll be tasting an anaerobic natural from Jhonatan Gasca, who produced Jack Simpson’s 2nd-place WBC coffee, alongside Heesun’s 2025 Aotearoa Barista Championship coffee from Anibal Diaz.

For the first Atomic.archives tasting, we're heading to Colombia to explore three coffees pushing specialty coffee in different directions—from experimental enzymatic washing to anaerobic fermentation and a competition coffee from Heesun’s 2025 Aotearoa Barista Championship.
Four seats per session. $30 a head. Proceeds go to Colombia Earthquake Relief.

Atomic Coffee Roasters is a coffee shop that has been serving amazing coffee since 1992. They started as a scruffy kid on Ponsonby Road, pumping out live music and top-notch coffee from between fine-dining restaurants. As they hit full steam, the queues grew longer than their slice of the strip could handle. So in 1995, they made the move to Kingsland, finding their groove as part of this creative, eclectic community.
Since then, Atomic Coffee Roasters has poured their energy into crafting uncompromisingly good coffee.
