As a child, I was equally saddened and fascinated by the ANZAC history we learnt at school, and ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae, has remained on of my favorite pieces of poetry since primary school:

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.

Happy 2026 to all amazing customers. We’re looking forward to catching up with everyone 😊.

We’re slowly getting back into our baking schedule, and with our head baker extraordinaire (aka Dad…👀) still holidaying you might see a few different item in our cabinets. Rest assured we’ll be back to normal within a couple of weeks!

We will be closing on Monday, December 22nd at MIDDAY. We re-open on Monday, January 12th 2026.

Our Luscious girls had a fantastic girls-only nibble & paint Christmas party!

Our talented resident artist, Arina, suggested we do a collaborative painting session. Every 15 minutes we swapped canvases, adding our own creation to each one. The results were amazing! Our girls are as talented as they are a delight to work with. We might need to make this a regular event! 🤩🥰
