Jam Organic Café is looking for an experienced Part-Time / Full-Time Barista All-Rounder to join our team in Takapuna!
We’re looking for someone who is more than just a great barista — someone who can confidently take on an all-rounder + Duty Manager role and loves being part of a busy café environment.
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 3+ years barista experience
• Excellent coffee skills & great latte art
• Confident working across the café as an all-rounder
• Available to work weekends & public holidays
• Happy to take on Duty Manager responsibilities
• Great communication skills
• Friendly, outgoing & genuinely a people person
• Creative, energetic & positive
• Reliable and able to work well under pressure
• Rotating toaster shifts as part of the role

For the past 5 years, Mariam and Bryan have been part of the Jam family, and we feel so lucky to have shared so many mornings with them, always accompanied by their gorgeous furry cutie Skye. 🐶
Their morning ritual is one we’ve come to know and love a walk along the beach, followed by coffee at Jam.And honestly, seeing them walk through our doors has become a little part of what makes our mornings special.
They absolutely love Jam, and we love having them here. ❤️
We call them our “Latte Couple” because, well… lattes are a very important part of their mornings,
One of our favourite things is watching Mariam scope her coffee from the glass after she finishes her last sip and then hearing her say, “I love it!”
Those little moments mean more to us than you know.
Mariam & Bryan, thank you for choosing Jam, morning after morning, for the past 5 years. Thank you for bringing your smiles, your beautiful Skye, and your love for coffee through our doors.

If you're coming by public transport, the nearest bus stop is located at Hurstmere Road near Lake Road. From there, walk straight ahead towards Hurstmere Road and turn right. The coffee shop/restaurant should be on your left.
If you're driving, take the Northern Motorway and exit at Northcote Road. Turn right onto Onewa Road then continue onto Lake Road. Turn right onto Hurstmere Road and the coffee shop/restaurant should be on your left.
Parking options include street parking on Hurstmere Road or nearby side streets, or using the car park located behind the shops on Anzac Street, which is a short walk away from the coffee shop/restaurant.
