Sweet Chimney & Elephant Ears is a food stall in Auckland that offers traditional Hungarian Chimney Cakes and Fried Bread with various toppings. The hand-made chimney cakes are baked right in front of you, and they have a crunchy exterior and soft interior. Customers can choose from a variety of delicious coatings, including vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate hail, almond, and more. The famous Hungarian fried bread, Elephant Ears, come with different toppings such as sour cream & cheese, ham & cheese, basil pesto, colorful veggies, and tomato & feta.
The shop is located on Elliott St next to the Wilson parking in Auckland CBD or at their markets every Thursday night at Henderson Mega Centre 5:30pm - 11pm; Saturday night at Pakuranga Plaza 6pm-12am; Sunday morning at Takapuna Market 6am - 12pm; and Sunday night at Glenfield Westfield Shopping Centre 5pm - 11pm.
Customers are always excited to try these traditional Hungarian delicacies for the first time or come back for more.
