To reach Fort Lane in Auckland by public transport, take a train or bus to Britomart Station and then head southeast on Customs St E until you reach Fort Lane. Alternatively, take a ferry to the Downtown Ferry Terminal and walk northwest on Quay St before turning right onto Lower Hobson St and left onto Fort Lane.
If driving, from the south take the Southern Motorway (SH1) towards Auckland City Centre. Take the exit for Nelson Street, continue straight on Nelson Street, turn right onto Fanshawe Street. Turn left onto Lower Hobson Street then turn right into Fort Lane.
There are a few parking options around the area including paid street parking or nearby parking buildings such as Victoria St Car Park or Downtown Car Park which is next to Britomart Train Station.
