Following last week's news, friends of Neck of the Woods have launched a Givealittle campaign in an effort to keep their doors open. We know firsthand how difficult it is to operate an independent music venue in the current climate and we also know what a loss it would be for Tāmaki Makaurau if another music venue disappeared.
If you've got the means and want to help, please consider supporting their campaign.
It's beginning to sound like a cliche because everyone's saying it right now but they're saying it for a reason. Every venue, record store, rehearsal room, promoter, artist and music fan is part of the same ecosystem. When we lose spaces like these, the whole community feels it.

What people say
Ding Dong Lounge is the ultimate destination for live music enthusiasts in Auckland. This rock dive bar offers an experience like no other, with its vibrant atmosphere and top-notch Korean F. The history of Ding Dong Lounge is fascinating, having originated in New York City in 2001 and later expanding to Melbourne before finally landing in Auckland in 2013.
