Hello Kings, and Queens, Princes and Princesses, Monarchs and Jesters! Long time no see! If you are a religious story watcher you may have caught up with our shenanigans, but if not, you wouldn’t have seen much of us recently and I apologise for that!

So, what’s going on with Queen?

We’ve been forging ahead with Good Food, Bright Minds, partnered with our good friends at Sanctuary Retreat, last term we fed 359 kids in total, and last week we actually managed to have our first entirely community funded week! All of the expenses necessary to feed the 38 kids we did last week were entirely funded by YOU! Which is INSANE to say the least! Myself and Lisa are so incredibly grateful! Lisa also managed to provide many of our GFBM kids with winter pajamas, which is just so flipping cool to be able to do!!

In terms of other business, Queen’s been slow. I’ve always prided myself on honesty and transparency with Queen, I think you should know a bit of what is going on with us!
We all know the economy stinks, we’re all living in it, and we are doing our best to continue to give you all the best experience we can at Queen!

So what has changed? I keep asking myself. Why on earth are we not busy? Am I not doing enough? Have we lost something? Did I do something wrong?

So I ask you all loyal supporters of Queen, what can we do better? I’ve always been open to feedback, but now I am pseudo-begging you to tell me what else we can do to put your butt in our chairs?

Remember, you are the reason local businesses have the ability to keep running!! Without you, we are nothing! We would LOVE to keep being something for you, whether we’re your first choice, or your last, so please, come and visit us. Tell us about your day, your week, your year! We want to be there for you for as long as we can be!
