A Farewell and Heartfelt ‘Thank You’.
A big ‘thank you’ from my parents, ourselves, and my brother Sam to all our friends and Viet Kitchen customers. This is one of our toughest and most tearful decisions — Viet Kitchen will close its door after six and half years of trading. Our final trading day is Monday, 18 October 2021.
Thank you so much for always supporting us! Thanks for coming in through our door for a simple baguette, or a family gathering meal, or a friend catch up! Thanks for introducing your beautiful children or proud parents to us! These are our happy memories, our achievements, and our gold medals!
This might be a farewell from Viet Kitchen, but there is also a hello from Kelly, as we are not going far 😊

What people say
Vietnamese cuisine is known for its perfect balance of flavors, and Viet Kitchen on Dominion Road in Auckland is no exception. Their dishes are a brilliant combination of aromatics, heat, sweetness, sourness, and fish-sauciness that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. Whether you're looking for a quick business lunch or a long relaxing family dinner, Viet Kitchen has got you covered.
Their menu features a variety of Vietnamese favorites such as lemongrass chicken, Vietnamese ham with pork, grilled pork patties, grilled beef patties and more. And if you're in the mood for something light and refreshing, their banh mi sandwiches are not to be missed.
Although it's sad to hear that Viet Kitchen will be closing its doors after six and half years of trading, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to the owners and staff for always providing us with delicious food and excellent service. We'll miss coming in for a simple baguette or gathering with friends and family over a meal.
But there's also good news - Kelly (one of the owners) is not going far! So while we say goodbye to Viet Kitchen, we can look forward to saying hello to whatever new venture she has in store for us. In the meantime, let's savor every last bite at Viet Kitchen before they close their doors on Monday, 18 October 2021.
