Happy Birthday to Sydney’s Dad. 🎈
Such a beautiful title to now wear.
I believe God made you a girl dad because you spent your entire life having to be strong. He knew she would be the one to teach you that it’s safe to be soft again.
Peyton and Orlando are equally lucky to call you their Dad. You’re the best step dad to these 2 I could have ever asked for.
Today we celebrate you but know you gift us everyday - the children will be raised with the healed version of you and that is by far the greatest gift that just keeps on giving.
We are so blessed and honoured to have you leading this family. Everything you are and do never goes unnoticed - even when the King Size Berry Biscuit block of chocolate goes missing and the only 2 people home were you and Sydney. 👀😂
Praying chapter 32 brings you more blessings, more headaches, more sleepless nights and more grey hairs.
We love you ❤️

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. ✝️
I took from today’s word that the resurrection of our saviour is a reminder that our scares tell a story.
Which reminded me of a message I received when we were in NICU.
One day our pretty girl will have such a beautiful story to tell by herself.
But little she know that her story has already started.
Not even a couple of weeks old and she was already doing the Lords work.
Her journey brought someone to the Lord in prayer, someone who clearly says “I don’t usually do that kinda thing” but proceeded to pray because their heart knew that if anyone could heal it would be HIM and if by chance HE would hear it. (and your prayer was heard!🥹)
God was working on Sydney and through Sydney and idk about you but what a testimony of his power. 🙌🏽
Through prayer and Gods grace we came home.
Look how far we’ve come. From where we were to where we are. We still have a way to go but don’t we all?
Thank you Jesus. Thank you for dying for us. Thank you God for giving us your only son.
True testimony of love.
He is risen. 🙌🏽✝️

You don’t forget the sounds in NICU. The beeps, the alarms, the quite moments when your heart stops and you quickly look up at the monitor.
These sounds live rent free in my head.
I feel these sounds all through my body somedays.
Living in nicu along side our widdle fighter Sydney will do that.
A reminder of where we started.
But assurance of how we’ve come. ❤️
One day our strong pretty girl Sydney will look back at how her life began and know from day 1 that God was with her through it all. 🙏🏽

I prayed for this. 🙏🏽

The best farmers carry you will ever do. 💪🏽
Famous dad walk out of the hospital 17 days later. 🥹
🌻Sydney Willow Moana Lopala born 19/01/26 @ 1:20am weighing 7.1 lbs and 54cm long has finally graduated from NICU. ❤️
She’s doing so well being home and making progress every single day. Thank you Jesus. 🙏🏽

Today has been the hardest day of them all.
Day 8 of being in the hospital with our widdle baby. 😭
I haven’t stepped a foot outside these doors.
Grateful for this man here who has been filling in the gaps absolutely everywhere. ❤️
My faith was really tested today.
Playing the waiting game for every test possible.
My eyes are fat and swollen from crying all day and it doesn’t help I’ve had maybe 6-8 hours sleep since we arrived here 8 days ago.
My milk supply is so limited and I’m pumping for every feed trying to keep up.
All in all we are better off than so many people in here but today I’m sooking hard and not giving a s**t about anyone else. Sorry.
I feel so helpless and responsible. Maybe that’s just the hormones talking today but that’s how I feel.
Maybe if I hadn’t have bleed out they would’ve noticed baby’s breathing earlier. Idk. Again…that’s just how I feel atm asking myself million questions.
I was reminded by one of the nurses here who caught me balling my eyes out (cause there is nowhere to hide in this damn place 🫠) that “yes we are here and we are medical and thats all we do BUT there is something greater than anything we say. Just because we say it doesn’t mean that’s the reality of the situation. You need to keep your faith and I don’t know who you believe in but you need to believe” - well punch me in the throat because that sentence from her had me balling even harder. 😭
Losing sight is so easy when your sleep, sun and pure oxygen deprived and nothing is going to plan but God sending someone who I definitely wouldn’t have thought would say that to remind me when I’m feeling my least is the reminder to keep my eyes focused on GOD and keep giving it all to him because only he can truly heal our blessing. 🙏🏽
Thank you to those who keep praying over our family especially our precious widdle gift. Love and appreciate you all. ❤️
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
