Dear guests, team, and community,
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close Sidart effective immediately. This decision was not made lightly, and we are deeply grateful for the support, memories, and experiences we’ve shared with each of you over the years.
To our amazing guests, thank you for your continued patronage, your smiles, and the many conversations that turned into lasting memories. It has been an honor to serve you.
To our dedicated team past and present you hard work and dedication has been essential to our previous success and we thank you.
To our suppliers and partners, your collaboration and reliability have helped us deliver the best possible experiences to our guests. We appreciate your professionalism and understanding.
Thank you again for being part of the Sidart family. While this chapter ends, the memories and relationships built here will remain with us all.

Lesley’s Fijian Fish Curry Arrabiata 🍝
Using South Island Scampi we deglaze the heads to make a fish curry foam incorporating flavours of red chilli, tomato and coconut.
We then cook the scampi meat in the pan and combine it with our house made handkerchief pasta, and finish with our Fish Curry Arrabiata foam 🦐
This has been a huge hit since it landed on the menu, be sure to call in and check it out!

We are delighted to share that at list nights Good Food Awards we were lucky enough to be awarded 2 hats 🎩
After what has been an incredibly tough year for everyone in hospitality it was really special to get together with so many different colleagues from the industry to focus on the good.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our guests that have dined with us over the past year. Being able to welcome you into Sidart each night and allowing us to tell you our story and in turn to learn yours is something very special to us and we’re so happy you continue to do so.
A thank you as well to all of the staff at Sidart. We might be a small team but it’s filled with an enormous amount of talent and passion. Working alongside you each day is a joy, we couldn’t do this without you.
Finally, thank you to and all of the team . You pulled out all the stops yet again this year. It was an honour to be surrounded by so many new and old friends and to celebrate one another. It was a night that hospitality in New Zealand needed desperately and you made it a really special one!

For all of August we have transformed our private dining room into “The Alhambra Lounge”
A nod to The Alhambra bar and restaurant, an Auckland institution for many, the lounge is a casual relaxed space where we will be serving our stunning snacks alongside a variety of different drinks and wines from our current list.
Swing by, enjoy some good food, cocktails and wine with a relaxed vibe whilst enjoying the view from the bar of the Auckland skyline!
We are open from 5:30pm to 8:00pm Tuesday to Saturday. Bookings are available on our website but we always will have space for walk ins!
