We use a delicious basil pesto base on our popular Margherita Pizza! 🌿
You'll find it also topped with buffalo mozzarella and freshly sliced tomatoes, before being finished off with fresh basil 🍅 FYI, this one is also vegetarian friendly 💚

It's been great seeing you all smashing our Sunday Roast this winter! 🍖 Not sure how long roasts will be going for - so it's a good excuse to snap them up before they're gone 😉
Roast meat can change weekly (pictured is lamb, but we have pork for a little while) served with seasonal roast vege, homemade gravy and Yorkshire puddings 😋

To reach the gastropub on Hibiscus Coast Highway in Orewa, you can either take public transport or drive. If you prefer using public transport, you can take a bus or train to Orewa and then transfer to a local bus that goes towards the pub's location.
If you are driving from any direction, take State Highway 1 until you reach the Silverdale exit. Then turn onto Hibiscus Coast Highway and continue driving until you reach the pub's location.
Parking options are available both on-site and off-site near the premises. If there is no parking available on-site, there are several public parking lots nearby where you can park your vehicle for a fee.

Shoreward Gastrobar - Orewa is a must-visit gastropub located on the Hibiscus Coast Highway. This newest addition to Orewa's dining scene offers an excellent venue with great food and bar snacks that will leave you wanting more. The outdoor dining space is perfect for enjoying the good weather while indulging in their delicious dishes.
Their Chicken Salad is a crowd favorite, featuring strips of grilled juicy chicken thigh, fresh salad greens, cucumber, roasted cashews, feta, cherry tomatoes, red onion, avocado and finished with a drizzle of mango dressing. If you're looking for something heartier, try their Chicken Parmigiana - panko-crusted chicken thigh topped with melted cheese, crispy bacon, tomato-herb sauce served with fries and a fresh garden salad.
On Sundays, Shoreward Gastrobar - Orewa serves up mouth-watering Sunday Roasts featuring duck fat roast potatoes, carrots, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, kumara homemade yorkshire puddings and homemade gravy.
