The Stables is 50 minutes from Auckland and a world away from a generic conference room. We’ve hosted business conferences, sales kickoffs, leadership days, and team workshops for companies that wanted more than four walls and a projector screen.

Despite their young age, Rumpus Machine has already built an impressive reputation, headlining major festivals and sharing the stage with some of New Zealand's best known artists.
In January 2025, they opened the Greenstone Concert in Taupō for Cold Chisel, Icehouse, Everclear and Bic Runga in front of a crowd of 18,000 people. It's just been escalating since!
We can't wait to see them live at Legacy Fest Matakana, 2027.

Christmas at The Stables.

All while the 220-seat restaurant next door is full and firing.

Super Trouper, NZ's tribute to ABBA, is playing The Stables Matakana on Saturday 31 October. Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, SOS, Fernando, the whole songbook, live.
Dinner from 5pm, show from 7pm. Dress up is strongly encouraged, so dig out the platforms, the flares, the glitter. The bigger, the bolder, the better!
