In addition to local school deliveries, from Wednesday this week we plan to start lunch deliveries to local businesses, from Waitoki, to Silverdale to Gulf Harbour .. It's been a few years since we've done this but our Halloween characters are back .. and this year they come with a variety of Japanese tasty daifuku (a sweet gluten free and dairy free soy milk treat) .. They will be available Friday October 25th, Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st ... On the school menu ready to be ordered now but stock numbers are very limited so get onto the ezlunch.co.nz menu and get them ordered

Initially we will have 2 flavours, Mango and Macha and then add Strawberry and Yuzu ... These will be available for purchase as part of a mini set lunch set

Went down to one of our local beaches yesterday and collected dried seaweed for the garden. Before spreading it over the garden I was washing the salt off it in our driveway when my neighbour over the road asked what I was doing. When I told him I was washing the seaweed I’d colllected, he was impressed that we make our own fresh sushi nori sheets

The sushi is still going to taste the same but it’s better .. we’ve been trialing new containers over the past 2 weeks that are easier to open with a clip on lid. They can be resealed if the kids don’t eat all their lunch. Feedback has been all positive so from today they are in full use for school lunches
