As part of Uptown’s NZ Music Month / Local Voices series, three DJs ( .hong )— friends and supporters of Coffee Pen — will be playing music at Pen from 9am to 1:30pm this Saturday 30 May.
records will also be joining us with a pop-up.
priest will be setting up four custom speakers he designed and built for the event.

We’ll have a special setup for the day, with the same easy Saturday feeling at Pen.

Kitchen / Baker (part-time)

We’re a small team, and we’re looking for the right person to join us — someone who enjoys good food, works with care, and fits the Coffee Pen vibe.

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a commercial kitchen
• 2–3 days per week (includes one weekend day)

To get to Basque Road in Auckland, there are multiple options depending on your preference.

Public transport:
You can take the train and get off at the Mt Eden station. From there, walk towards the city for about 5 minutes until you reach Dominion Road. Cross the road and you will find Basque Road on your left-hand side.

Alternatively, take bus number 267 from Britomart or Newmarket station and get off at the corner of Owens Road and Dominion Road. Walk along Dominion Road towards Kingsland until you see Basque Road on your right-hand side.

Driving/parking:
Head towards Dominion Road from any direction and turn into Owens Road, where there is a car park that charges hourly rates. From there, it's only a short walk away from Basque Road. Additionally, street parking is available on Basque Road and surrounding streets.

Please note that these travel directions are not specific to Coffee Pen but will guide you to Basque Road.
