After many incredible years, it’s time for me to say goodbye to Little French Pastry.

What started as an idea, a lot of passion, flour, butter and very long days became something much bigger than I could ever have imagined.

To every customer who walked through our doors, came back week after week, ordered a cake, shared a coffee, told a friend about us, or simply supported what we were creating — thank you. Your support over all these years has meant more to me than I can put into words.

To every member of the LFP team, past and present — thank you. So many talented and hardworking people have been part of this journey. LFP would never have become what it is today without you.

I’m incredibly proud of what we created together and of all the memories that came with it.

Little French Pastry will continue its journey, but for me, it’s time for a new adventure.

Thank you for being part of this chapter of my life.

À bientôt,

Ben

Queen Saint-Honoré – Mother’s Day Edition

A refined celebration of French pâtisserie, created to honour the elegance of every mother.

Our Queen Saint-Honoré reimagines the classic with a delicate floral design and a lighter, modern balance of flavours. A crisp inverted puff pastry base supports a crown of golden caramel-glazed choux, filled with smooth vanilla and apricot cream. At the centre, a generous rose of mascarpone chantilly reveals a vibrant peach confit, bringing freshness and a subtle tang.

Finished with seasonal edible flowers, fresh peach, and a touch of gold, this cake is designed as both a centrepiece and a moment to share.

A perfect balance of texture and flavour — crisp, creamy, light, and gently fruity.

Serves: 6–8 people
Available on order online for a limited time only from the 1st of May FrenchPatisseri

You can find their pastries and treats at various cafes and shops around the city, including L’Atelier du Fromage, Farro Fresh, Chateaubriant, Elisabeth Cafe, Yoons Kitchen, Gelato and Torta. Their executive chef Ben Chevré has been featured on national radio discussing the impact of being nominated by the New York Times and his favorite pastry - the millefeuille. And if you're lucky enough to attend one of their gala dinners, you'll be treated to unique creations like an illusion ice cream on the sand with a coconut-lime mousse ball and burned pineapple confit inside a wafer.

Overall, Little French Pastry is a gem in Auckland's food scene that should not be missed by anyone who appreciates delicious desserts made with care.
