To get to Matakana Valley Road, take State Highway 1 north from Auckland. Turn off at the Warkworth exit and follow the signs to Matakana. Once you arrive in Matakana, continue straight ahead onto Matakana Valley Road.
If you are using public transport, you can take Bus 995 from Auckland to Warkworth and then transfer to Bus 996 which goes directly to Matakana. From there, it's a short walk or taxi ride to Matakana Valley Road.
If you are driving, there is parking available along Matakana Valley Road near the diner and cafe.
