We were feeling nostalgic today …
Whipped up a batch of these from the “little” two spoons days.
Housemade GF pastry filled with Nutloaf & onion jam. Pretty sure we called them “NOT sausage rolls” way back when.
They’re gluten free and vegetarian, you’ll see them in the cabinet tomorrow 👌

We're looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team and take pride in creating our fresh savoury cabinet food each day.
You'll work closely alongside our baker to keep our cabinet full, fresh and looking incredible.
What you'll be doing…
* Preparing fresh savoury cabinet food daily.
* Planning your prep to ensure the cabinet is well stocked throughout the day.
* Assisting with food costing and helping maintain healthy profit margins.
* Assisting with stock management and ordering alongside our baker.
* Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
* Working independently while communicating well with the kitchen team.
* Contributing ideas for new cabinet items and seasonal specials.
* Keeping your workspace clean, organised and efficient.
We're looking for someone who…
* Has previous café or commercial kitchen experience.
* Understands food costing and production planning.
* Is organised and able to manage their own workload.
* Uses initiative and can think ahead.
* Produces consistently high-quality food with excellent presentation.
* Works well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude.
* Enjoys being part of a supportive, team-focused kitchen.

* Love introducing new flavours and cabinet ideas.

Cabinet Cook
Love creating fresh, delicious food? We're looking for an experienced cook to prepare our daily savoury cabinet & catering offerings, work alongside our talented baker, and help keep our cabinet looking full, fresh and irresistible. You'll need to be organised, use initiative, understand food costing, and take pride in producing consistently great food.
Front of House Superstar / Supervisor
If you love people as much as you love coffee, this could be your dream role! We're looking for someone with at least 2 years' café experience, excellent barista skills, leadership experience, confidence with social media, and a genuine passion for creating an exceptional customer experience. Knowledge of allergy-friendly food is a big advantage.

To get to Wade River Road in Whangaparaoa, you can take the Northern Express bus from Auckland, and get off at Hibiscus Coast Station. From there, you can walk towards the peninsula and follow signs to the coffee shop.
Alternatively, if you are driving, take State Highway 1 north out of Auckland and exit at Silverdale. Follow signs towards Whangaparaoa Road and continue onto Wade River Road. Parking is available on-site or on nearby streets.
