Founded by husband and wife Ling and Richard, has been doing their thing in Hamilton for a while now, serving up seriously good handmade pastries, coffee and plenty of local love.
La Promesse is also our first cafĂ© in Hamilton, so weâre pretty happy to see them open a second spot, just around the corner from the original. Youâll find eighthirtyâs standard blend being poured at both.

To get to the coffee shop on Anzac Avenue in Auckland by public transport, you can take a train or bus that stops at Britomart station and then walk towards the east along Quay Street until you reach Anzac Avenue. Alternatively, you can take a bus that stops at Anzac Avenue directly.
If you are driving and looking for parking options, there are several car parks nearby including the Wilson Parking on Beach Road and the Downtown Car Park on Lower Hobson Street. From either of these car parks, you can walk towards Anzac Avenue where the coffee shop is located.
