As you’ve probably seen for yourselves, the hospitality industry is really hurting right now, again. It’s a constant roller coaster in this industry with more lows than highs over the past 6 years.
This is in direct correlation with a vast amount of households.
Times are tough.
If you are however going out to eat or drink this weekend please check out the independently owned and operated venues first.
Maybe that’s your local, maybe somewhere new. We are the ones who work the longest hours and hardest to try to always be there for our communities.
These small businesses are the first to go out of business in times as challenging as these and as we all know from Covid days, will be the ones that will be missed the most.
So, if you’re going out this weekend or in the near future please support the independently owned and operated venues. It means more than you may know right now.

What an amazing weekend with the Sail GP in the Wynyard Quarter.
Thank you to everyone who came down and made the weekend so enjoyable. We’d also like to acknowledge our incredible team who worked tirelessly under pressure and kept a massive smile on their faces throughout. Hospitality at its best.
Undoubtedly one of the greatest atmospheres we’ve experienced and an incredibly proud moment.
