Long weekend incoming, and the weather's looking pretty good for it! ☀️🍻

With Labour Day on Monday, we've got a few good reasons to spend some of the weekend at The Fat Oyster.

Friday kicks off with our usual $2 Hot Wings from 3–6pm, along with live music from 3–6pm to get things started.

Rhi's been busy behind the bar showing off our Cocktail of the Week, the Paloma. If you haven't seen her video yet, check it out. Better still, come and try one! 🍹

And if you're making the most of the long weekend, we've got more live music on Sunday afternoon from 2.30–5.30pm.

Looks like Ōrewa is going to be humming this weekend! 🙌

The Waka Ama Long Distance Nationals 2026 are underway at Ōrewa Beach, the Twilight Market kicks off this afternoon, the school holidays are in full swing and there’s plenty happening around town all weekend.

If you’re heading our way, make The Fat Oyster one of your stops.

$2 Hot Wings are on from 3–6pm today, our Berry Bramble cocktail is ready for Friday afternoon duties, and Kids Dine Free from 11.30am–5.30pm throughout the school holidays.

1. Bus: Take the bus to the Silverdale Bus Station. From there, walk south on Hibiscus Coast Highway for about 5 minutes until you reach A/316.

Driving/Parking:
1. From Auckland CBD: Take State Highway 1 (Northern Motorway) north towards Albany. Continue on SH1 until you reach the Silverdale exit (Exit 398). Take the exit and merge onto Hibiscus Coast Highway. Drive for about 4 kilometers until you reach A/316.

2. Parking: There is limited street parking available along Hibiscus Coast Highway near A/316. Alternatively, there may be parking options available at nearby shopping centers or public parking lots in the area.
