Definitely not CEO.

His answer?
“Customer guy.” 😂
And that actually pretty much sums it up.

Miles remembers everyone. The coffee they drink. How they like it. What they usually order. How long they have been coming to us. If they’ve changed their order lately or if he has prompted them to try coffee a different way…

Twelve years in, we have learned that coffee is not just about coffee.
It is about people. So there you have it.

Meet Clint Yeastwood, his very well-travelled sourdough starter. He sometimes spends his days hanging out on top of the coffee machine, getting just the right amount of warmth and plenty of attention.

Who would have thought our roastery would one day become the setting for a 60th birthday celebration! ☕🎉🥂🎂

When our lovely customer Shelley asked if she could hire the space for her 60th, we were delighted to say yes. Last Saturday she transformed the roastery into a wonderful venue for family and friends, and from all accounts everyone had an amazing evening.

Morrin Rd Roastery is closed tomorrow, reopening Saturday 11th July...
Rāwhiti Road is open Friday 10th July 8am-12noon and the rest of the weekend as usual...😁☕

🚧 A little refresh is coming to Rāwhiti Road...

It's hard to believe it's been 2 years since we moved our coffee roaster to its new home at Morrin Road. Ever since then, the space at the back of Rāwhiti has been patiently waiting its turn while Morrin Road kept us more than a little busy! 😅
From tomorrow, we'll be building a new wall behind the counter and finally giving the space the finishing touch it's been missing.

Please bear with us while the work is underway. We'll do our best to minimise any disruption and keep the coffee flowing!😁🗜🛠☕

To get to Rawhiti Road in Auckland, you can take the public transport and get off at the bus stop near Rawhiti Ave. From there, walk straight ahead until you reach the intersection with Rawhiti Road.

Alternatively, if you are driving, you can take Tamaki Drive and turn onto Ngapipi Road, then onto Kepa Road. Finally, turn right onto Rawhiti Road. There is street parking available along Rawhiti Road.
