Has anyone else had issues with Google Business Profiles removing macrons from their business name?
Our business is Wētā Coffee, but Google Maps and Search repeatedly change it to Weta Coffee. We correct it, only to find it changed again, sometimes within the same day.
We've contacted Google support multiple times but have been unable to get an explanation or a solution. This issue was resolved several years ago, but has now returned with a vengeance.
For us, it's important that our business name is displayed correctly and consistently. We would be interested to hear whether other businesses have experienced similar issues.

This coffee sack turned sandbag has been on standby since the January 2023 floods, and it’s back out front doing its job again, keeping any river that might decide to run down Rāwhiti Road away from us.
We’re planning to be open tomorrow as usual, unless the power has other ideas, and if that happens we’ll keep you updated here.

We had a bit of drama at the roastery this afternoon with a fire in the roaster… Our first in 13 years of roasting! 🔥👩🏽🚒🚒
Huge thanks to the two fire crews who came out, and made sure everything was completely safe with no hot spots, even though the fire was out by the time they arrived. We are so very grateful for their quick response.
Thankfully it’s business as usual again, and no beans were burnt in the process!… 😁☕

To get to Rawhiti Road in Auckland, you can take the public transport and get off at the bus stop near Rawhiti Ave. From there, walk straight ahead until you reach the intersection with Rawhiti Road.
Alternatively, if you are driving, you can take Tamaki Drive and turn onto Ngapipi Road, then onto Kepa Road. Finally, turn right onto Rawhiti Road. There is street parking available along Rawhiti Road.
