We were absolutely blown away by the catering at our wedding. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations in the best possible way. The food was not only beautifully presented but tasted incredible—every dish was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with so much care and attention to detail.

The service was just as impressive. The team was professional, warm, and seamlessly organised, making everything feel effortless on the day. They played such a big role in creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for both us and our guests.

We received countless compliments throughout the night about how amazing the food was, with many guests saying it was some of the best wedding catering they’ve ever had. It meant so much to us to see everyone genuinely enjoying themselves.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to the team for helping make our day so special and memorable. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional catering

Highly recommend. Absolutely outstanding catering experience. Everything was superb from start to finish and truly well worth it. Excellent communication and help with the right package and requirements to suit our function. The team arrived on time, and everything was exactly as described.
Hemi was absolutely amazing—efficient, communicative, and incredibly professional. The food was outstanding, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how great it was. I became completely caught up in enjoying the evening, and it was such a relief knowing everything was taken care of without a single concern.

Huge shoutout to your company and the two staff members who came as well — you were amazing.

The kai from Saturday is still being talked about, and it’s nearly a week after our wedding. That says everything.

Honestly, it was top-quality kai. Everything tasted like the kind of home-cooked meals my man used to make — hearty, filling, and made with love. Even though it wasn’t a massive crowd, people were going back for 4+ rounds before dessert, which says it all about how good the food was.

The meats, the salads (my fave was the broccoli and cheese — whoever came up with that, you’re the best 😆🤌🏽), the lasagne, the breads… everything was just on point.

Apologies been flat out at work.

However, I would like to say THANK YOU for the most amazing food that was provided for our little event we had at the Lagoon Leisure Pools. I was getting amazing feedback on the choice of catering, food and believe you me "Islanders" when the see salad they steer away but I had family and friends asking if it was possible to take the whole container of the different salads we had. The meat was cooked to perfection beautiful, the meat, tuna pasta and I think it was the chorizo pasta salad that was a major hit. I handed your card details to family members who were asking for the catering details. I am truly thankful to my friend who referred us to you and SSBBQ did not disappoint. Your driver was amazing and so helpful and so kind love that for a business. Rest assure we will be booking with you's again for a few function we have going on this year.

The food was amazing and everyone raved. The two ladies were amazing and worked like a well oiled team and are a credit to your team - please pass on my appreciation to them.

There was so much food that it fully exceeded our expectations and fed over 160 with loads of leftovers for people to take home. We were super satisfied.

The smallest note was that the ladies were super busy with keeping the food topped up etc that they were limited in being able to clear plates from guest in the quick time frame we had set aside for dinner that I would recommend a 3rd person for this.

Overall the food and service was amazing and couldn't be more happier with it.

Thanks again, will definitely be recommending you and your team, food to anyone who needs catering.

Everything went good, food was amazing the feed back from our guests they were full and loved the food as was the service from your team they catered to our head table amazingly from bringing the food to our table to clearing our plates when we were done, their mannerism was on point as we were ahead in time by an 1hr they were accomodating to change the time for dessert service, they even went out of there way to make a plate up for one of our vip guests which we thought was awesome and when Liz and I look back know to the day we realised that they were a young team you had on so you should be proud of them as they represented your company so well you couldn’t fault them at all. Thank you and your team for the food and service 10/10 from us.

Good morning Shelley,

The food was amazing and we had plenty of left overs the following day to offer to close family who popped in.

The two servers were lovely and set everything up beautifully! We tried to get them to have some dinner with us but they very graciously continued their job and then quietly slipped away.

Absolute highlight was the meat and the brownie!

We were super impressed and had lots of lovely feed back from our guests! Their plates were full and then very empty.

We are so pleased we went with you guys and will be recommending your business to others!
