I am saddened to let you know that Joe’s Eatery shall be closing its doors on Saturday 5th October 2024.
It has been my privilege to serve and create countless cherished memories with you. Whether it was celebrating special occasions, events or simply sharing a meal with friends and family.
Your support and loyalty through what has been some really trying times, has meant everything to me. I have been truly honoured to be a part of your lives, and I cannot express how much I have appreciated your trust in me, given that I had never done anything like this before.
The memories we’ve shared will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for making Joe’s more than just a restaurant. It has been a community, gathering place, and a home, where everybody knows your name.

We love live music friends! And this weekend is full of local, live greatness. Katie, Kevin and the Squeeze Meister General, Mr Stephen Cope join us tonight for fun times and dancing. Then in Saturday we have the return of Mother and Daughter power duo, Erana and Sesrina. New Happy hour 4 - 7pm. House wines $12 abd house beers $9. Get warmed up and then dance the weekend into shape.

To get to the café on Hurstmere Road in Takapuna, you can take public transport. There are several bus stops within walking distance of the café, including the Hurstmere Road at Anzac Street and the Lake Road at Huron Street stops.
Alternatively, if driving, you can park at one of the nearby pay and display car parks such as Anzac Street car park or the 38 Hurstmere Road car park. From there it is just a short walk to the café.
