My name is Boss, Hi. And Im the owner&operator at Red Crab in Ellerslie. Red crab has been cooking and serving our community for over 8 years, but our team has been in business since 2019. Big thanks to our team fellas, friends and people that helped me setting up this place in all sort of ways, really, thank you !
It has been like a roller coaster experience with almost needed to close down in the first 6 months of operating, then Covid hit. I was very uncertain how we’re going to turn out. The tough 6 months that made me thought of finding an alternative for the business. Then, the idea of setting up a takeaway & delivery system born, just prior to Covid.
More than expected, people liked to order on our online platform during Lv.3, and because of this we have changed the business’s perspective & position to become more comfortable. Who would have thought that this unprecedented time has change us to a better position til today.
It is our choice to move on for now and hope one day, once we are ready, we ll be back and able to serve our community again, especially our Ellerslie. I have got to know this community better since i started the business here, the locals here are just amazing ! Thank you again for the great memories and your support !
