*Satya in Sandringham is offering a brunch buffet service on Saturdays and Sundays at 18$ per person. Few dishes like dosa, vada, puri are served made fresh while other dishes like idli, upma, poha, dahi vada and lemon rice with sambar, chutneys and etc are displayed for self help. While you devour these displayed dishes yo will be served with freshly made dosa, Puri and vada
When is the buffet available?
*Saturday and Sunday 9.30am to 1.30pm
Is it true that masala doss in regular hours costs $22.00 on its own? And you serve unlimited dosas along with many other dishes for $18 per person? If so, why?
True. Satya is a pioneer to introduce south Indian food to NZ, way back since 1999. Many regulars have drifted away to other countries due to the economic challenges in NZ. We are offering this buffet as a tasting menu to the new entrants as well as our regulars

What people say
Satya South Indian Restaurant is a gem in the Auckland food scene, offering some of the best South Indian cuisine in the city. The restaurant's location on Great North Road is easily accessible and provides a cozy atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals. What sets Satya apart from other Asian restaurants is their commitment to supporting the community during difficult times, as evidenced by their Covid-19 special menu with reduced prices.
In addition to their community support, Satya also offers unique experiences for their patrons. Their Chai Lounge on K'Rd features exclusive drinks like Hazy Daze beer and pre-theater deals for those attending shows at the Basement Theatre. They even have a pop-up restaurant called Hyderabad Hotel that serves up delicious dishes from Chai Bazaar.
But what truly makes Satya stand out is their mouth-watering food. From classic dosas and idlis to flavorful curries and biryanis, every dish is bursting with authentic South Indian flavors. It's no wonder that they have been featured in The Humble Yum Yum's latest YouTube video.
Overall, Satya South Indian Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. With their commitment to community support and unique dining experiences, it's no surprise that they are one of Auckland's top Asian restaurants.
