Taiko Japanese restaurant is looking for an experienced server to join our team, We are after FOH team members who can consistently work in lunchtime shift in weekdays , and there are more weekday evening shifts also available for interested candidates $22-$24p/h meals, discounts and a great team environment. help with Visa if required.
We're open Tuesday to Sunday, so dedicated Monday off.
Job Type: Part-time or full time
Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour

Unfortunately, due to staff shortage, we will be operating ONLY FOR TAKEAWAY
NO DINE -IN
at lunch time until further notice.
At dinner time we will be operating as normal.
Our Kingsland branch will be opened for dine-in both for lunch time and dinner time.
Sorry for any inconveniences and thank you for your understanding.

We are happy to announce that we're opening from 3rd December✨
We are open for bookings now🎉
Following the government traffic light system , we will be operated by limited table and 2 sessions time on dinner until further notice.
❇️ Opening hours
LUNCH : 12:00 - 14:30 ( 14:00 L.O )
DINNER : 17:30 - 21:30 ( 21:00 L. O)
Tuesday - Sunday
❇️ DINNER Booking
1st session : 17:30 or 17:45
2nd session : 19:30 〜
(Table duration 90 minutes)
❇️ PLEASE NOTE
IT IS NOW MANDATORY for all guests to register using the covid tracing app.
We have made the decision to implement vaccine certificates first ( please show the vaccination pass to one of our staffs when everyone enter )and foremost to protect our staff and customers but also to allow the continuity of our services at all stages of the new framework.
Taiko always been a restaurant that prides itself on welcoming every part of the community, so it saddens us that our decision may leave some of you feeling excluded. That is definitely not our intention. We understand this time is a very challenging for many people and we respect each of you for your own choices. If you fell sick or unwell, please stay at home and get tested. Please be mindful of other guests and observe social distance.

Public Transport: Take any bus or train to Mt Eden Station. Walk south on New North Road for about 5 minutes, and you will find the restaurant on your left.
Driving/Parking: From Auckland CBD, head west on Karangahape Road. Turn right onto Queen Street and continue onto Dominion Road. Turn left onto Valley Road, and then turn right onto New North Road. The restaurant is located on the left-hand side of the road with limited street parking available nearby.
