The BBC Tasting Studio is a restaurant and pub located in Birkenhead Village, Auckland. Open daily since 2015, this classic 100-year-old Kauri Villa boasts a tavern atmosphere where regulars are revered and new visitors are welcomed into their family environment. The menu offers food to share, along with an absolutely fabulous wine list, stunning champagne, over 60 craft beers and more. The Tasting Studio is the North Shore home of craft beer and is also the centre of the universe for the Birkenhead Brewing Company. Today we’ve tapped Aotea Brewing Solar Charged APA direct from Great Barrier Island! Steve was over there prior the last lockdown and adored a number of the beers there while touring with mates. And finally the beer makes it to the big smoke! It’s a great example of a decent APA with a bitterness kick that’s delicious. See you soon?

If you have great experience in customer service and hospo, can work full time with good availability, then we'll pay you well, give you job satisfaction and won't make you work overtime!
If you are a hospo person, a duty managers licence will make your pay a little higher. If not, no big deal.

Boom!

Wow! What an awesome experience for a Quiz - we hosted our first ever lockdown Quiz won by Clan Cordes. A wonderful six rounds of questions with everyone on zoom using our quiz platform. Steve is keen to go again!

To get to Birkenhead Avenue in Auckland, you can take a bus or drive. If taking a bus, you can catch the 953 or 957 from the city centre and get off at the stop closest to Birkenhead Shopping Centre. From there, it is just a short walk to Birkenhead Avenue.

If driving, you can take any of the bridges across Auckland Harbour and follow signs for Birkenhead. There are several parking options available on Birkenhead Avenue, including street parking and a public car park located off Hinemoa Street.
