Sierra Coffee is a boutique coffee shop that has been roasting coffee since 1992, delivering a consistent blend of exceptionally good coffee served in their cafes. Their modern and nice smelling roastery operations at The New Zealand Coffee Co in Newmarket freshly roast over 2000 kilos of Sierra coffee every week and serve over 45,000 cups of coffee a week. With attention to detail and the original decommissioned 7-kilo Diedrich supervising each roast, Sierra Coffee offers a unique experience for coffee lovers.

Option 1 - Public Transport:
Take the train or bus to Auckland Central Station and then transfer to the InnerLink bus. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Dominion Road and Mount Eden Road. Walk west on Dominion Rd for about 5 minutes and you will arrive at your destination.
Option 2 - Driving/Parking:
From Queen Street, head south until you reach Karangahape Road. Turn right onto K'Road and continue straight as it turns into Great North Road. Turn right onto Bond Street, then left onto Balmoral Road and continue until you reach Dominion Road. Turn left onto Dominion Rd and drive for about 500 meters until you reach Sierra Coffee on your left-hand side. Limited street parking is available nearby. Alternatively, there is a paid parking lot located nearby at the corner of Dominion Road and View Road.

They started with just 50 kilos of Sierra coffee roasted each week in their humble beginnings on Jervois Road, but have now outgrown that location and moved to a modern roastery operation at The New Zealand Coffee Co in Newmarket. They now freshly roast over 2000 kilos of Sierra coffee every week and serve over 45,000 cups of coffee a week.
Despite their growth, one thing that hasn't changed is the care and attention they give to each Sierra batch of coffee. They still use their original now decommissioned 7-kilo Diedrich to supervise each roast, every day. This dedication to quality is evident in every cup of Sierra coffee served in their boutique cafes.
