The baking may have been few and far between the last 12 months, but it is still such a privilege to be invited to create special treats for you 🥰
This was the first creation of the year 💐 and there’s more to come very soon…

Some of the most beautiful treats I have ever made 🤩 and it makes my heart sing 🥰
It’s taken a bit of time to reset, find my new routine in 2023 with a new full time job…but we’re getting there! And we will have some good news to share with you very shortly 👀
Announcement coming next week…

Well this is exciting 🤩 especially for all my little granola lovers…
The breakfast kings have created a range of certified gluten-free granolas that they were kind enough to let me try…and my goodness, they’re tasty! 🤤 (They did not last long in our household)
This range is a light & crisp cereal, not your typical nut-based granola…so for me it was more of a dessert-topper, or light snack. It was packed full of flavour (delicious on its own) and had enough texture to provide a good crunchy garnish.
I noticed a slight ‘powdery-ness’ due to the rice flour, but it was subtle and didn’t impact the overall quality.
It’s also quite clumpy, has a range of different puffed grains (buckwheat, rice, amaranth) and seeds, so it makes a great grab-and-go snack for between meals.
I would definitely recommend if you like a sweet, light and crunchy granola! So keep an eye out for its release 👀

Less than one week until Christmas!! 🎄🥳 And that means you have even less time to get your Charlie Mia holiday treats 😋
We will be closing off orders this Wednesday at 5pm…
And we haven’t said anything before now, but this may be your last chance to get our goodies for a wee while as I’m starting a new adventure in the New Year 🫢

Wee baby cakes might be making an appearance for Christmas at our next market…what do you think?? Yes??? 🤔😋

A lot of things in the past few years have felt overwhelming, out of control…and it has been an ongoing lesson to remind myself that it’s okay to not have all the answers.
It’s okay to change direction. It’s okay to let go of things when they’re no longer serving you. It’s okay to try out new ideas and experiences. And it’s okay when they’re not what you expect them to be.
It’s okay to feel tired and discouraged…and it’s okay to let yourself be excited when you decide to chart a new course.
None of our journeys are linear, and they might not ever lead you where you think they will. But it doesn’t mean there isn’t something just as beautiful waiting for you around the next bend 🌈
This final part of the year is going to be very bittersweet for me. The wind is blowing me in a different direction, and with that comes a lot of mixed emotions…more on this later.
But for now, I’ll try to enjoy the present for what it is…absolutely magical ✨
