💙 A Message from Andrew & Frazer
This is a post we never thought we'd have to write.
After a lot of thought, we've made the difficult decision not to renew our lease, which means The Next Bar's final day of trading will be Wednesday 29th July after our last Bingo night.
Life has taken us in different directions, and we've reached the point where we can no longer give The Next Bar the time and energy it deserves. Rather than doing things by halves, we've decided it's the right time to close this chapter.
To our amazing Next Bar community... thank you.
What we've loved most is creating a place where people could come together. We've been lucky enough to see birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and milestones celebrated, friendships formed, families gather, dogs become regulars, and so many great memories made.
To our amazing team, thank you for your hard work, loyalty and for helping make The Next Bar what it is. We couldn't have asked for a better crew.
We've still got just over two weeks together, and we'd love to see as many of you as we can before we call last drinks.
So come and have one last pizza, one last drink, one last Bingo win, or simply pop in for a chat.
Thank you for your support, your loyalty and for being part of our journey. We hope you'll help us make these final weeks something really special.

Last week they were enforcing Bingo Law.
This week they've somehow become Lawn Bowls Champions.
We don't know who gave them the trophies.
We don't know who approved the uniforms.
And we're not entirely convinced they've ever played lawn bowls.

To get to Pinecrest Drive in Whangaparaoa, you have a few options for public transport and driving/parking:
Public Transport:
1. Bus: Take the bus to Whangaparaoa Road. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Pinecrest Drive.
Driving/Parking:
1. From Auckland City: Take State Highway 1 north towards Albany. Continue on State Highway 1 until you reach Silverdale. Take the exit onto Hibiscus Coast Highway (State Highway 2) towards Orewa/Whangaparaoa. Follow the signs for Whangaparaoa Peninsula and continue on Whangaparaoa Road until you reach Pinecrest Drive.
- Parking: Look for available street parking along Pinecrest Drive or nearby streets.
2. From North Shore: Take State Highway 1 north towards Albany. Continue on State Highway 1 until you reach Silverdale.
