We’re open this Waitangi Day ☀️🕶️
You may have seen our courtyard next door. It’s open to the public and soaking up the sun, so sunglasses are a must while you enjoy your coffee or kai. The mural also makes a great backdrop for photos 📸🌺
If you’re after a cooler spot, our air-conditioned space inside is a perfect escape too ❄️

As we wrap up the week and head into Christmas 🎄✨, we want to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas 🤍.
We’ll be closed for a little while so our team can enjoy a well-deserved break and spend time with their loved ones ☕️🫶. We’ll reopen Monday 29 December to Wednesday 31 December, before closing again for New Year’s 🎆.
Thank you for all the support this year. Have a wonderful break, enjoy the festive moments, and we’ll see you again soon 🎶☀️.

As we head into the festive season 🎄, we wanted to share our opening hours so you can plan the weeks ahead 🗓️.
It’s also not too late to take a moment for yourself ☕️. Pop in for your favourite beverage and something sweet or savoury 🍰🥧. The café is decorated for Christmas ✨ and our festive playlist favourites are on rotation 🎶.
We’ll be open on the following days:
Monday 22 December, 7am–3pm
Tuesday 23 December, 7am–3pm
Wednesday 24 December, 7am–3pm
We’ll be closed for Christmas Day 🎄 and Boxing Day, and again on Saturday 27 December.
We’ll reopen the following week on:
Monday 29 December, 7am–3pm
Tuesday 30 December, 7am–3pm
Wednesday 31 December, 7am–3pm
We’ll then be closed on New Year’s Day 🎆, Friday 2 January and Saturday 3 January, before returning to our normal business hours from Monday 5 January.

🇹🇴 Uike Kātoanga’i ‘o e Lea Faka-Tonga – NZ Tonga Language Week 🇹🇴
It was only for the day — but what a fun day it was down at the waterfront celebrating Tongan Language Week with our little pop-up stall!
We served up Otai, Keke Isite, Faikakai (Manioke), Vege Chips, Lu Pies and of course our Pineapple Pie… ooouuuuuaaa!
