Taste of Ukraine in New Zealand is a non-profit organization based in Auckland, formed by a group of dedicated volunteers who utilize their cooking, baking, and craft skills to provide support for residents of Ukraine. They actively participate in various markets, festivals, and events throughout Auckland and offer special orders for their delicious Ukrainian cuisine. The group is committed to fundraising efforts that bolster assistance for Ukraine while sharing the rich culinary traditions of the country.

It was such a pleasure yesterday for our team to support Ruslan Gorovyi event - the documentary screening "Moshchun: The Diary of Liudmyla Oleksandrivna".

Thank you Ruslan for telling the real life stories of Ukrainians during the russian invasion and thank you for all your efforts to help these people to rebuild their lives and restore their dignity. 💛💙

For everyone on Auckland who missed our cooking, we will see you on Saturday, 9th May at Britomart Saturday Market - our favourite place to meet you, we most definitely can't wait! 🌻

Hello Auckland friends! 🌻

While you are waiting for our May bake sale, why not to attend a screening of a Ukrainian documentary “Moshchun: The Diary of Liudmyla Oleksandrivna”, being presented by the director himself - Ruslan Gorovyi.

A firsthand account from an elderly woman who found herself on the front line during the battles for Kyiv in 2022 and documented it as it unfolded.

After the screening, there will be a Q&A with Ruslan, book sales, and a small charity auction to support his ongoing work.

We might even cook some Taste of Ukraine in New Zealand treats for you!🌻

Thank you for joining us at Silo Park on Sunday. Together we raised $1,500 towards the truly national 'Ukraine Container Project' coordinated by Ukrainian Association of New Zealand (UANZ).

Thank you Mahi For Ukraine for bringing us all together to commemorate the 4 years of full scale invasion of Ukraine.

This Sunday, Taste of Ukraine team will join Auckland Ukrainian community and friends of Ukraine to commemorate 4 years of full scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

There will be a souvenir stall (and maybe a cheeky slice of honey cake).

ALL raised funds on the day will go towards the NZ Container Project delivering vital medical supplies from NZ to Ukraine.🇺🇦🇳🇿
