Fernielea Licensed Cafe was a cosy little cafe located on Coatesville Riverhead Highway, just north of Albany. They served delicious food and some of the best coffee around. The cafe was perfect for families with children and also did dinner on Friday nights, with a wood-fired pizza and tapas menu. Despite their active social media presence in 2022, the business has been permanently closed.

Hey all!!!

We will not be open tonight (Friday June 3rd) for dinner. But we will be next week so come by then for dinner 😁. We will be doing our dinner menu along with a woodfire pizza menu 🍕🍕

Come by any day from 7:30am-4pm for coffee and food! Kitchen closes at 2:30, so make sure you get your lunch!!

Our easter opening hours are:

Good Friday : 8am till 3pm (No dinner)
Saturday : 7:30am till 4pm
Sunday: 7:30am till 4pm
Easter monday : 8am till 3pm

No Surcharge on public holidays.

* Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
* Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
* Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
* Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

To get to Coatesville Riverhead Highway in Coatesville, you can take the Northern Express bus from Auckland City and get off at the stop near the intersection of Coatesville Riverhead Highway and O'Brien Road. From there, it's a short walk to your destination.

If you're driving, take State Highway 1 north out of Auckland and exit onto Upper Harbour Highway. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Coatesville Riverhead Highway, then turn left. The cafe is located on this road.
