While Burgundy is celebrated around the world for its exceptional wines, its culinary heritage is just as deeply rooted in tradition, and Dijon mustard remains one of its most iconic specialties.
Dijon mustard traces back centuries to Burgundy, where its distinctive character came from the use of verjuice (unripe grape juice) and carefully crafted techniques. Today, “Dijon” refers more to a style than a place, a legacy that has travelled far beyond its origins.
In Beaune, La Moutarderie Fallot carries on this heritage as an independent, family-run house, preserving traditional know-how passed down through generations and staying closely connected to its Burgundian roots.

A taste of the Mediterranean ☀️🍅
Bandol Blanc paired with tomates d’antan et burrata: heirloom tomatoes, creamy burrata, basil olive oil and a delicate balsamic glaze.
In the glass, aromas of citrus blossom, white flowers and bergamot. The palate is vibrant and refined, carried by lively acidity and a silky texture.
That touch of salinity and brightness lifts the sweetness of the tomatoes while cutting beautifully through the richness of the burrata.
