Labour Weekend we are ready for you.
We adore this little transition toward summer. An extra day off, long evenings, first swims, and time in the flourishing garden.

Oh yeah it's a sorbet.
Doesn't get more local than the gorgeous Seven Circles Farm and although they mainly produce glorious cut flowers there was a fortuitous bumper crop of sweet grapefruit which is now the tangy sweet treat your tastebuds are looking for.
When we tell you it's small batch and seasonal we mean it, come and tell us what you think.

Sunday sleep ins look like the ticket.
The freezer is restocked and the coffee machine will be prewarmed so as soon as the weather clears a little we will head down to North Avenue.

These have officially sold out but hit us up if you'd like to order one.
If you come to see us at the caravan we will happily put your beverage in any cup you bring along.

And in the blink of an eye August has gone, spring is pulling up, can you smell the freesias 😍 and we are ready to get back in the caravan.
The kitchen will be humming again today!

Memories of an east coast getaway, or two.
The time has flown and in between these beautiful moments we have been getting ourselves ready to snuggle back into our happy place at the Mangawhai Estuary.

Highlights of a west coast getaway.
Raglan, Waikaretu, Port Waikato.
Loved:
Our dog friendly accommodation, with a cute history including a creed!
Being in a new place with nothing to do but explore.
Water. Ocean, estuary, waterfalls, rivers, and little creeks. 💙
Yummy things. Lots of yummy things.

Our winter break has arrived. Caravan is closed for August.
Maintenance was waiting.
Rest is calling.
Carpark is upgrading (thanks KDC).
But we are still churning gelato and if you get in touch we can make sure it finds its way into your (surprisingly warm for winter) hands.
