And in the blink of an eye August has gone, spring is pulling up, can you smell the freesias 😍 and we are ready to get back in the caravan.
The kitchen will be humming again today!

Memories of an east coast getaway, or two.
The time has flown and in between these beautiful moments we have been getting ourselves ready to snuggle back into our happy place at the Mangawhai Estuary.

Highlights of a west coast getaway.
Raglan, Waikaretu, Port Waikato.
Loved:
Our dog friendly accommodation, with a cute history including a creed!
Being in a new place with nothing to do but explore.
Water. Ocean, estuary, waterfalls, rivers, and little creeks. 💙
Yummy things. Lots of yummy things.

Our winter break has arrived. Caravan is closed for August.
Maintenance was waiting.
Rest is calling.
Carpark is upgrading (thanks KDC).
But we are still churning gelato and if you get in touch we can make sure it finds its way into your (surprisingly warm for winter) hands.

Looks like we will be rained out tomorrow and we have more gelato than we can eat over the winter holidays!
Come down with your own container to fill with our last delicious scoops and we will give you a great deal!!
