Here is a short clip showing our home compostable packaging hitting the production line. This is a quick behind the scenes of one of the first steps in the process of getting the final product rushed to your door - enjoy!

We're back! Well, kind of.. the shelves are being restocked, and cafés replenished - hooray! We are roasting off-site, so please be patient with us as it might not be rushed to your door quite as quickly as it used to (for now)!

A few of you have already noticed that the website is live again, even prior to an announcement. Thank you for your ongoing support (and regular checking-in)!!

We value each and every one of you!

Ngā manaakitanga,

*A Rush to Judgement*

The stranger shouldered his burly frame through the batwing doors of the saloon, brushing the travel dust from his coat.

Drinkers paused in their conversations, the poker table was stilled and the piano player missed a crucial Cm7 with his shaking left hand, raising a well presented eyebrow from Pirate Jenny, the singer.

The stranger strode to the bar with a clatter of bootheels and a jingling of spurs.

‘What’s yer poison, cowpoke’ asked the barkeep, ‘shot o redeye?’

‘Coffee, hot and strong’ murmured the stranger, sweeping the room with a steely glance.

The cup was placed, the stranger supped, grimaced, drew his shooting iron, and plugged that durned barkeep right between the eyes.

‘That ain’t Rush’ he said.

Massive thanks to the talented Phil Gouge for this marvel! Hopefully you won't all be too long without your favourite brew... (no barkeeps were harmed in the felling of this oak)

Thank you everyone for the amazing offers of support and kind words over the last couple of days. We are so grateful to live in such a wonderful community! The professionals are working on tree-removal and ensuring the place is safe to re-enter. We are investigating contract roasting opportunities and hope to be able to update you more on the coffee front soon. Ngā mihi mahana, Team Rush

"We would have been seriously injured or even killed if someone was inside."

Some not-so great news we're afraid. Our large oak tree has come down on the Roastery and put us out of action (there is substantial damage). Thankfully, no one was inside the building so no one is hurt.

Unfortunately this means we are no longer able to fulfil orders at this time. All cafe customers have been contacted with alternative supply suggestions. Any website orders that were not shipped Friday will be refunded.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, we appreciate your support.
